What's A Plank Exercise Routine?
It's a continuos plank exercise workout where you perform each exercise stance one after another with little to no breaks in between, as animated above. Think of it as circuit training for the plank.


What is Circuit training I hear you ask? Here's a wiki definition for you:

"Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program.


A circuit should work each section of the body individually:
1.Upper-body
2.Core & trunk
3.Lower-body"


Based on wiki's definition, the great thing about a good plank routine is that each section higlighted above will get a good workout.


A typical routine will consist of the following transitions consecutively following on from the last position with minimal rest:


1. Start - 10 seconds Front Plank

2. moving to 10 Seconds Left Side Plank

3. moving to 10 Seconds Right Side Plank

4. and Finish.


If you're still not satisfied, perform the circuit workout again, or add in some more advanced positions with increased times.
